Meadowview Bulletin Board

OPEN LETTER TO ALL MEMBERS

July 2, 2026

Dear Meadowview homeowners,
The Homeowners Association (HOA) is currently seeking volunteer board members.
Serving on the board is a valuable way to make a positive impact in your community,
help guide important decisions and ensure the neighborhood's needs are met. If you
are interested in volunteering or would like more information about the responsibilities
and benefits of becoming a board member, please contact the HOA office.
Should we not get enough people to run, our HOA has the risk of going into receivership.
For associations that can no longer function due to lack of leadership, receivership may
be the only option but is rarely ideal. It is important to note that the receiver is not an
owner, resident, or stakeholder in the community. Their authority comes from the court
appointment, and their primary goal is to stabilize the association, not to reflect the will
or wishes of the homeowners.

Receivers are typically appointed to ensure the continued operation and stability of
the association when self-governance has broken down. This may be necessary to
protect property value, fulfill Legal or financial obligations, or even as a condition
imposed by a lender to safeguard its collateral interests in the community. The
receiver may take over association decision-making duties from obtaining vendors,
managing maintenance projects and the enforcement of community rules.
Without a board of directors consisting of association member, homeowners may lose
control over their community's direction and priorities. This would not be advantageous
to any of us.
We ask for you all to consider being a member of the board. We thank you all for making
Meadowview a special place to live.

Thank you
Meadowview HOA Board of Directors
